New Books Out

A couple of exciting new titles co-authored by me have hit the shelves in recent months! 

My favourite of these is The Joy of Wild Swimming, which profiles Europe’s top wild swims across the world. I was focusing on the UK for this book: flick through (once you get it, which anyone who loves being in the water just has to do) to one of my favourite stretches of shoreline in Europe, the elemental Sandwood Bay in Scotland, to let me guide you through the drama of a trip there – and a dip there!

Or if you prefer a slide over snow to a splash in the sea, follow me on the world’s longest sledging runs, Big Pintenfritz, down through the Swiss Alps in one of the Epic Snow Adventures of the World (a book in which you can also read about me, every bit as chillingly, braving the icy depths of a Finnnish avanto in pretty much the Finnish Arctic’s coldest weather of the year…

Cold places. I must have a thing for them I guess…
