Quiet Start to 2017? Well…

Behind the moody, storm-tossed January skies, all has seemed quiet in my Welsh abode. But a lot of stuff has been going on behind the scenes writing-wise for me, facilitated by copious amounts of coffee, late nights and particularly scant attention to housecleaning.

January saw the completion of Lonely Planet’s new Puerto Rico guidebook, the researching of my first-ever cover story for a flight magazine (the topic is deliciously fascinating, but mum’s the word until it’s published in March), the going to press of the latest culinary travel title I’ve contributed to (The World’s Best Superfoods; also available come March) and a search the length and breadth of Wales for medieval musical instruments appropriate to appear in the visuals for my new novel, Song Castle (the first glimpses of which will be available soon on my publisher’s website, Urbane Publications).

Stay tuned… šŸ˜‰
