A Little Talk on Life in Liechtenstein – the World’s Sixth-Smallest Country, but Mighty Big on Surprises! – Interview for 2GB Radio

On a rain-soaked morning last week I got up at 3am, made myself a particularly strong coffee and tuned into the wonderful Afternoons with Michael Mclaren show on 2GB Radio, one of the most widely-listened-to radio stations in Sydney, Australia. While it was a surreal experience switching on to talk of heat warnings and suncream issues on a chilly, dark Scottish October day (night!), this wasn’t my primary motivation. I was speaking to Michael on lovely little Liechtenstein – one of my favourite destinations in Central Europe. I’ve spent quite some time in and written on Liechtenstein – it being next to Switzerland and Austria, which I also write on a fair bit – and became just the second foreigner to walk the Liechtenstein Trail, the completely-across-the-country hike created especially for the nation’s 300th anniversary. So to experience me talking on Liechtenstein’s hiking, wine, false teeth, royal family and other fascinating insights into life in this little principality, please listen to my 2GB Radio interview.!!
