A rearrangement! I was due to give this talk in January 2018 but for a couple of reasons it has been postponed now until this month:
Journeys. What inspired people to travel in erstwhile times? From sailors bound for the New World to pilgrims spurred on cross-continental odysseys in the name of a God or Saint, this talk looks at the motivations of some of the groups of early travellers I am most fascinated by, what similarities they bear to travellers now, and how they have influenced my fiction writing.
This is one in a series of talks I’ll be giving during 2018/19 to coincide with the publication of my new novel, Song Castle.
Date: Thursday, 28th February 2019
Venue: Manor Parc Hotel, Thornhill Rd, Thornhill, Cardiff CF14 9UA
Copies of my novels Song Castle and Roebuck will be available for purchase on the day
