What it’s Like to Start a New Life in Slovakia: Article for Dreams Abroad

It has been my pleasure these last few months to write a series of articles on life and culture in Slovakia for Dreams Abroad. This US-based organisation and community is dedicated to making the experience of moving to, studying in and discovering life in countries overseas. It’s an adventure-minded community that encourages dreams and helps pave the way to making them reality. I was happy to write on Slovakia because, as I have long lamented, this wonderful country – where I lived for four years and still try to encourage others to visit – gets so little international publicity. This despite boasting some of the most spectacular forest, mountain and vineyard scenery in Europe.
