Wales’ Bannau Brycheiniog – formerly Brecon Beacons – National Park is a place of bald, broad rocky summits, yellow moors… and some of the UK’s finest waterfalls. In and around Pontneddfechan on the southern edge of the park, dramatic cascade after dramatic cascade plunges through the ancient Celtic rainforest fringing the moorland, rightly giving the area its nickname of ‘Waterfall Country’.
