The Catholic Church has designated its Jubilee Year – a year only occurring once every quarter of a century – ‘Pilgrims of Hope.’ As pilgrimage seems set to become bigger than ever before in modern times, my article for i Paper, as the feature piece in the travel section this weekend, explores the best British pilgrimage trails.
