Amazon has some 360,000 titles within its historic fiction section, so it’s with some pride that I say that Roebuck is currently one of the best reviewed by readers. It’s not always easy when you are published by a smaller publisher to compete with the biggest names in the business but this is Roebuck holding its own against some of the greats of historic fiction (Rose Tremaine, Hilary Mantel). Position number 86 and – I certainly hope – rising!
